ABOUT ME

Jack is currently working with Logan Simpson, an environmental consulting firm, based in Tempe, AZ, as a Wildlife Biologist for over three years, but has been working as a biologist for over six years throughout the Midwest, Southeast, and Southwestern United States (AZ, CO, IA, KY, MN, NM, NV, TN, UT, and WI). He brings expertise in various wildlife and plant species surveys, habitat assessments, species monitoring, and project compliance for the Endangered Species Act (ESA), Clean Water Act (CWA) Section 404, Bald and Golden Eagle Protection Act, Migratory Bird Treaty Act (MBTA), state and tribal regulations related to wildlife and plants. He has worked for various federal and state agencies including the Department of Transportation, Army Corp of Engineers, Fish and Wildlife Service, US Forestry, Bureau of Land Management, Bureau of Indian Affairs and tribal agencies, and National Park Service.

He has become recognized as a Geographic Information Systems (GIS) specialist, through his experience providing database support for the Arizona Game and Fish Heritage Program, Logan Simpson projects, GIS experience during his Master's thesis, and GIS work with Austin Peay State University GIS-Center.
