China Springs Environmental Assessment

Under the authority of the Bureau of Indian Affairs, I conducted a site assessment for a potential mining operation for aggregate material for the Knox Excavating company in an area located within the Washoe Indian Reservation. During the site assessment, I investigated the potential of ESA species such as the Greater sage-grouse (Bi-State population) and Webber's ivesia occuring within the project area. I drafted the biological resouce section within the Environmental Assessment for the Project, as well as drafting the Biological Assessment/Evaluation for the Project to be submitted to the BIA and USFWS.
