Arizona Department of Transportation Biological Evaluations

Preformed multiple Biological Evaluation Short Form (BESF) for roadway projects in collaboration with the Arizona Department of Transportation (ADOT) and Phoenix metro municipalities.

Under Logan Simpson, conducted multiple biological evaluations for roadway infrastructure projects, specifically, for the City of Scottsdale, City of Tempe, and City of Chandler, AZ. Duties included performing biological surveys along rural and urban roadways, consulting on state and federal regulations that should be considered during the construction of the project (ex: Migratory Bird Treaty Act, Endangered Species Act, State Wildlife Connectivity, Native Plant Law). Afterwards, completed a Biological Evaluation Shor Form and submitted to ADOT.
