Provided a biological survey resource report to be used for NEPA for a proposed solar field site in Mobile, AZ

Under Logan Simpson, I completed a biological resource investigation and report analyzing the potential impacts of a proposed solar field by 8-Minute Energy on BLM land near Mobile, AZ.

The biological reconnaissance surveys were conducted by a colleague and myself surveying the entire 1,780 acre solar site footprint identifying potential species of concern, such as cactus ferruginous pygmy owl, burrowing owl, kit fox, and Sonoran desert tortoise. Following the surveys, a biological survey report was drafted documenting the findings and suggested biological concerns for construction of the project. This report would be included into the analysis for the EIS and Biological Assessment.
